This map represents the 2022 property sizes prior to the latest Water Oaks expansion and the Proposed Grand Oaks development

With the exception of the Carlton Village, Water Oaks, and Harbor Hills subdivisions, in 2022 there were very few properties that were less than ±2.5 acres The majority of the properties east of CR25 and north of Eagle’s Nest Road were a minimum of ±5 acres and many were ±10 acres or larger. In fact, until this day most of these properties have remained the same acreage since the 1960s. Also, some residents own multiple contiguous parcels. So their homes are actually on larger acreages. 

While we realize that growth is inevitable, the addition of 795 mobile homes in this area would be devastating to not only this area’s rural and mostly peaceful atmosphere, but also the current residents’ property values.
